Abuja Children’s Park & Zoo – Sunday 17 February 2008


It was a family day at the Abuja Children’s Park and Zoo.  We brought our kids and the kids still in us, our friends, and our picnics and had a leisurely half day.

Timing:   

Meet at parking lot of ACP&Z at 11:30am.  Take several leisurely hours to wander, sit, eat, and play.

 

 

Directions:  

From Asokoro:

Proceed on the ring road toward Maitama.  Pass all the barracks on right and look for the sign for the ACP&Z on the right, just before the light for Maitama St (which goes to the government buildings and Millennium Park.  Turn right toward ACP&Z.

 

From Maitama:

Proceed on the ring road toward Asokoro.  Pass IBB golf course on right and look for the sign for the ACP&Z on the right, just past the light for Maitama St (which goes to the government buildings and Millennium Park.  Turn left toward ACP&Z.

 

From Town:

Proceed toward Millennium Park along Constitution/ Ave.  Pass the park and turn left onto Maitama St. just before the entrance to the government buildings.  At the end, turn right at the ring road toward Asokoro, then take the first left toward ACP&Z.

 

Once on the drive, be sure to turn right into the ACP&Z parking lot – do not go into the barracks!  Wait here for the rest of us.
