Quarterly Membership Meeting – 24 September 2006
This meeting did
not take place:
I'm sure you've already seen the
following announcement - however, here is some information for members:
Members should gather around 7:00,
unless you want to come earlier and talk to prospective new members.
This is a pot-luck event - that
means every member should bring one prepared food item to share among all of
us. If it's homemade, you're welcome to
bring a dessert item, otherwise food is good.
Non-members who are interested in joining are exempt from bringing
anything but their interest in the
The agenda is fairly loose, but
around 7 members should gather and socialize until about 7:20 or so, then we
allow the prospects to join the food line first and we load our plates, eat and
socialize until just before 8, start the meeting with the treasurer's report,
then elect branch officers (President, Treasurer, Secretary), ask for job
volunteers, then talk about previous and future events. That's it.
Then, we can stay around and socialize some more!
