Shere Hills Conservation Talk – 20 November 2007
The
Nigerian Field Society Abuja Chapter presented Dr. Babajide Agboola who spoke
about his efforts to conserve and have the national legislature set aside the
areas near Jos called Shere Hills, Fusa, and Jarawa Hills as a protected area.
Dr.
Agboola is a private veterinary practitioner and President of
Environmental Resources Conservation Initiative. Many of us have already had
the pleasure of having Dr. Agboola join us on hikes and share his knowledge in
the Shere Hills and other areas near Jos, especially if we went with M. Thomas
de Douhet.
